Features several funky themes including the killer LET ME GET STONED club tune. Caribbean rare groove with BBoy drums / congas / infectious horn section / guitar vamps and superb breakdown midway. Great for DJs. Comped by Hugo Mendez ?for his Tropical Funk Experience selection. We have also recorded their voodoo version of War's THE WORLD IS A GHETTO with amazing drum patterns and exotic percussion / hip hop kicks / dub bassline and psychedelic jazzy refrain / the funky and sweet soul groove of YOU'RE A MATCH / the Meters cum swamp funk-esque DON'T BLOW THIS JOINT and the Sound Triangle latin psych tinged style vocals and fuzz distortions spiking the WHAT A LIFE theme. Vinyl is in shiny, strong VG+ condition overall with some hairlines and scuffs. Light surface noises but most probably due to the actual pressing quality. Some soft pops / soft ticks in places. The card sleeve is in strong VG+ condition with ring creasing / ring wear marks (mostly to the back sleeve). Corner and edge wear with a couple of small nicks / tears. Ink fading (mostly to back sleeve). Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Rare Lp!!!
