Excellent original copy of the scarce SWEETBACK funky jazz LP featuring IVAN BOOGALOO JOE JONES on the JOKA label from 1976. 

Stereo pressing, catalog number is LPN-6007.  Label is orange with black print.  Cover is thick cardboard construction.

Personnel are as follows:  Ivan Joe Jones – guitar; Bobby Knowles – organ; Warren Giancaterino – bass; Bud Kelly – drums, percussion; Ellsworth Gooding – tenor sax; Charles Bowen – alto sax; Verdone “Turk” Banks – congoes; and James Valerio III – percussion.

Guaranteed to be original and authentic.  I do not sell boots or reissues.

Jacket:  Jacket is in overall very nice shape, no writing or splits.  There is some very minor wear along the top and bottom seams, but no splits.  Also, some minor surface wear and traces of ring wear are starting to appear on the front, but it is not as prevalent as other copies of this LP I have seen.  Overall a very fine jacket that is very presentable.   

Vinyl:  Viny is very close to near mint, this record appears to have been played a very small number of times and handled with care.  There are a couple very light slide marks (not audible) but no serious marks or problems.  I have played the record on my Thorens turntable, and it is a great sounding LP with superb fidelity.  No tics, surface noise, or other problems of any kind.  I am certain the winning bidder will be very pleased.
