LP : Ivan “Boogaloo Joe” Jones - Sweetback

Originally released on the tiny JOKA label in 1975 and still pretty high-priced as an original pressing. This here is a high-quality reissue by LUV N' HAIGHT from 1995, LHLP 020. Different artwork than the original. 180 Gram high quality premium RTI vinyl. Outstanding sound-quality ! One of his funkiest, awesome line-up and all tracks are winners - an all-time favourite ! Condition: the record looks & plays in mint-. The cover shows just slightest shelfwear, all seams/spine are intact with just a little ca 2.8 inch burst ( but NO split ) on top, there's slightest cornerwear, front & back are real fine; overall ex+.

Zustand: die 180 Gram LP ist optisch & akkustisch in mint-. Das Cover ist sehr gut erhalten, alle Kanten sind intakt, nur auf der oberen Kante ist in der Mitte das Cover für ca. 5 cm etwas aufgeplatzt ( aber nicht durchstossen ), minimale Ecken-Gebrauchsspuren, Vorder- & Rückseite sind top ; insgesamt in ex+. alle Platten habe ich professionell gereinigt und angehört (meist ganz, manchmal in Ausschnitten). Kommen mit neuer Außen- & Innenhülle !

Grading & Cleaning:

  • the record has been cleaned on my professional HANNL record cleaning machine

  • after that I playgraded it (completely or at least in parts) on my Rega Planar 9, Moving Coil cartridge by EINSTEIN:TU-3 Super Fine Line ( please consider that the playback might differ a bit depending on your own equipment )

  • I also visually graded the record in daylight, in normal artificial light & under a strong halogen lamp

  • only an unplayed record is mint, the highest grading for a used record is mint- ! My basic gradings are: mint – ex – vg

  • cleaned records are stored in a new pro innersleeve and they are placed in a PVC protection-sleeve
