RARE
CREST RECORDS 45-1030 red vinyl recorded circa 1956.
BOOGALOO AND HIS GALLANT CREW
songs are: CLOTHES LINE (Wrap it Up) & COPS AND ROBBERS
Boogaloo was KENT HARRIS. This is his second recording for Crest Records. He has a very short recording profession and turned to song writing. There was a law suit over this record as others recorded it after Boogaloo recorded it. His Gallant Crew on his first Crest Record was Freddie Simon's Band and His Gallant Crew on this record was said to be Ernie Freeman's Combo.
This is a rare one as there were not too many sold and I have found O for sale on the Internet.
The record is a glossy RED VINYL. It has light surface wear/scuffing. The labels are bright and clean with no scuffing on the Clothes line side and a scuffed spot on the other label. RATED: EX-
RATINGS: NEAR MINT-NM used but no imperfections: EX very clean with a few very light blemishes: VG+ medium surface wear/scuffs & plays well, VG lots of surface wear & still plays well. G still playable with lots of scuffs, possible noise, no sticks, no skips
