Description
This is a very rare MONO copy of Simon and Garfunkel's LP Bookends.
INCLUDES RARE POSTER IN NM CONDITION
KCS 9529 ( XLP 118885 / XLP 118886 )
This LP was released in 1968 and available to consumers in Stereo only. This mono copy was sent to AM Radio Stations only making it a very rare find. It is a white label promo.
The vinyl is VG+ This LP was a regular play LP on the radio station. It was gently used and has a few light surface marks. There is no writing on the label and it plays VERY well. I played it and heard 4 ticks on At The Zoo and about the same amount of very light ticks at the end of Mrs. Robinson. No noises to note from listening to side one. I'm very particular and describe any faults I find. It's not that this is a poor copy, this is a great find, in great condition and well taken care of.
Cover is VG Has very light wear to front and back, but the one end is split and the corners show some wear. There is a sticker in the upper left corner that says SPECIAL MONO RADIO STATION COPY.
