BOOKER ERVIN - GROOVIN' HIGH
1966 original Monaural Prestige LP PR 7417
Booker Ervin - tenor sax; Carmell Jones - trumpet; Jaki Byard - piano; Gildo Mahones - piano; Richard Davis - bass; Alan Dawson - drums.
CONDITION
COVER = VG++(+) Front cover very glossy, drill hole in lower left corner. Back cover slick was originally pasted on at an angle. Some signs of wear on the back cover. Two small tears at right edge of back cover slick. Three of the four corners are a bit tattered, more so on the upper left corner. Spine is in excellent condition - all writing on spine is perfectly intact and clear.
DISC / AURAL = VG+++. At times a little background noise, mostly very slight or none.
DISC / VISUAL = VG+++
LABELS = NEAR MINT MINUS. Some very slight spindle marks.
Record will be packaged in a polyethylene sleeve with disc in white paper sleeves outside of cover, and will be shipped in 13x13x2 Uline mailer (200 lb. test) with 13" x 13" filler pads to avoid edge/corner bumping.
