Description
This is a like new copy of a limited edition (600 copies) 2002 archival release on the Rockadelic label of 1969-72 recordings by California group Born Again. Originally from Marin County north of San Francisco and calling themselves Red Mountain, the group went to L.A. with the promise of a record deal, and got caught up in the heavy drug use and general insanity of the time (which the liner notes inside the gatefold jacket describe in some detail). Most of the tracks on this record are from those recording sessions; the last few are from a year or two later and feature a revamped lineup. The earlier material in particular is strong late '60s hard rock/psych. This release was the first time the group's music was officially issued, and it remains the only time it has appeared on vinyl. The gatefold jacket is all but pristine -- M(-). The marbled disc is clean, and plays like new -- M(-).
I’m in the process of selling off a large personal collection amassed over two decades. All discs have been stored in plastic lined inner sleeves separate from their jackets. The jackets have been stored in plastic sleeves. I have play graded (spot checked) discs except where otherwise noted.
