Description
I’m listing the complete, six-volume Born Bad compilation series, which collects together the original music that inspired the Cramps. This is vintage rock ‘n’ roll for degenerates, in the best possible way.
This auction is for Volume Six, which rounds out the set with a final crop of great sources of well-known Cramps covers and concert staples. Rarities include a truly unhinged Dean Carter cover of Jailhouse Rock recorded ten years after the original Elvis version, in 1967, that puts the “psycho” in psychobilly. 1992 release on Born Bad Records (BB006). Gatefold jacket is NM- with price sticker and very light creasing at the spine. Vinyl is beautifully NM. 14 tracks total:

Grading: Jacket/VinylThe LPs I’m listing now are from my personal collection. I took very good care of them, including storing with plastic inner and outer sleeves. Prior to listing, I examine each LP under natural and artificial light and, when anything is in question, I play it. Gradings:
NM = Near-mint, no signs of wear or play but opened. NM- typically means spindle marks or very light scuffing are the only evidence of use.
EX = Excellent. I’ll note what kept it from NM. Never includes jacket seam-splits or ring-wear, or anything on vinyl that audibly detracts from play.
VG = Very good, still enjoyable if you’ve been looking for this for your collection. All defects will be noted. I have very few of these ratings, usually just on albums where vinyl is NM but the VG jacket itself had been stored unprotected prior to my purchase.
