BOSCOE - s/t LP on Kingdom of Chad label from Chicago, 1973
Cover: Near Mint (light corner crease on one corner visible on back cover) Vinyl: VG++
I bought a SEALED copy of this album about 6 years ago and had no idea how rare it was. So of course I opened it and played it. I am giving the vinyl a VG++ rating because it does have some paper scuffs. The pressing quality itself is a little strange in places - some weird tiny indents. Rest assured however, the record sounds stunning. As you would expect for a record that was opened and played about 10 times on a good turntable.
Musically this is ace Chicago FUNK - shades of early Funkadelic, Curtis Mayfield and Last Poets with its heavy political vibe. I'll print a scan of the back cover so you can see the players and instrumentation. This is a great record that I'm sorry to sell, but I need the money. Feel free to email me with any questions.
