FABULOUS BOSS / SKINHEAD REGGAE ORIGINAL from my own collection. Super REGGAE DOUBLE SIDER SINGLE from LAUREL AITKEN 'DANCING WITH MY BABY' / 'DO THE BOOGALOO' was released on the UK BIG SHOT (B&C/TROJAN GROUP) label in 1972.
AS IF THIS SINGLE WASNT HARD ENOUGH TO FIND THIS IS THE UBER RARE 1ST PRESS FOUR PRONG PUSH OUT CENTRE VERSION WITH INTACT CENTRE. THIS IS MUCH HARDER TO FIND THAN THE (ALSO HUGELY RARE) SOLID CENTRE VERSION.
IVE PROBABLY PLAYED THIS COPY LESS THAN FIVE TIMES SINCE PURCHASE (I HAVE A 'PLAYING COPY')!
It has survived with only MINIMAL surface scuffing (not affecting sound). there is a tiny hint of static on the run in (I dont have a pro cleaner)
The LABELS are Near Mint (except one mark on side 'A' which was there when I bought this) and have NO Stickers or Tears (see pics for exact condition).
The SINGLE PLAYGRADES BETWEEN MINT MINUS (M-) AND EXCELLENT PLUS (EX+) condition and NEVER COMES UP FOR SALE. THIS IS 48 YEARS OLD AND (EXCEPTING MINIMAL RUN IN STATIC) PLAYS LIKE NEW
It is supplied in its Near Mint Trojan Repro sleeve and a Heavy Duty poly sleeve for extra protection.
This record virtually never comes up for sale on Ebay in anything other than battered condition. Please do not compare with poor quality (eg Very Good graded) offerings. You will not be disappointed in the quality of this copy.
