Description
"And now, on to Dick Kollmar as Boston Blackie...enemy to those who make him an enemy, friend to those who have no friends.."
And here's an outstanding pair of original RADIO PROGRAM TRANSCRIPTION DISCS containing the two complete 27-minute episodes of the ZIV syndicated detective series: "BOSTON BALCKIE", starring RICHARD KOLLMAR as Blackie.
Each disc contains half of two episodes - #89 titled "DERAILED GOLD TRAIN" (first aired on 12/24/46), and #90 titled "CARL BROWNING CLEANING SHOP" (first aired on 12/31/46).
These vintage 16" RADIO TRANSCRIPTION DISCS are original ZIV syndication discs, issued to radio stations and in protective sleeves.
The discs are clean and uncracked; the labels have no handwriting on them. The recordings in great condition. Unlike most syndication discs, these show very little use. The discs contain the body of the shows; the openings and closings are extended theme music. After the first short segment, the announcer gives the introduction written in blue above; there is no closing message.
See scans of the labels for both sides of each disc. There are no skips and no scratches.
Will ship in sturdy packing...excessive shipping costs will be rebated via paypal for multiple purchases.
