Description

Own an unplayed piece of Rock & Roll history.

Offered here is a Factory Sealed, First Pressing of Boston’s legendary self-titled debut album. This is "New Old Stock" (NOS) in Mint- condition, preserved in its original shrink wrap for nearly five decades.

This is the definitive 1976 pressing (Catalog #PE 34188), widely sought after by audiophiles for the "Double Wally" mastering. Because this copy is sealed, the orange Epic labels and pristine vinyl inside are untouched since the day they left the factory.

Collector Highlights:

• Authentic 1976 First Pressing: Verified by the PE 34188 catalog number and original 1976 copyright.

• Factory Sealed: The original shrink wrap is tight and intact, preserving the jacket's vibrant "guitar spaceship" artwork.

• Wally Traugott Mastering: As an early pressing, this contains the legendary mastering work of Wally Traugott ("Wly"), known for providing the most "sparkly" and sonically superior version of this album.

• Famous Tones: Features the iconic guitar tech and modeling foundations used or praised by artists like Steve Vai, Pat Metheny, and Nick Reinhart.
