Here´s an original copy of BOUDEWIJN DE GROOT - Picknick, released 1968 in Holland on Decca (blue/silver,unboxed) NU 370016. A totally underrated great laid-back hippie psychedelic album. By far his best and bloody rare in nice shape like this one is. Housed in wonderful flower power sleeve. The laminated flipback sleeve and the record are in near mint condition.
SCARCE underground Holland-only album recorded in 1967. Together with Nacht & Ontij, PICKNICK is considered as Boudewijn two best and most psychedelic works. It's beautiful PSYCHEDELIA with WEIRD arrangments - collage of different sounds. BAROQUE chamber combo, jazzy parts, PSYCHEDELIC SOUND EFFECTS, HEAVY ACID FUZZ PSYCH guitar, even SITAR ... All songs are really great! AWESOME album with COOL STONED DREAMY sphere. Each side has it's own name: side 1 is "Picknick" and side 2 is "De Tuin Der Lusten (Garden Of Delights)"
