The duo of Sylvie Granger and Daniel Lepage recorded (as Boule de Son) one of Quebec's rarest and most elusive vinyl gems, "Just'en Passant", in 1975........a superb progressive folk rock masterpiece that's near impossible to find today (full review at Prog Quebec: Here).
Little-known to most collectors, four years later they also recorded another equally rare Long Play, again self-penned, privately recorded, produced, pressed and distributed (only a few hundred copies).......the obscure "Le Refuge du Père Cloé" on the same private label (Editions Boule de Son).
Essentially a spoken-word childrens' adventure, it recounts the story of two young kids' seach for a recluse old man who's cabin is hidden somewhere in an enchanted forest. ** But what really makes this LP stand out is that the album includes 2 full musical tracks from their unique Boule de Son LP......the superb "Reveil" and an unknown and previously un-released track which was likely a Just'en Passant outtake (as the sound is very similar).
