BOULT / RACHMANINOV / RIMSKY-KORSAKOV / LONDON PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA - " Symphony No.3 in A minor / Russian Easter Overture ", RCA Records Ltd (SB-2035) Stereo, 1959.

Very rare 1959, first UK Stereo pressing of the very rare RCA Red Seal "Living Stereo" LP with the grooved, first label - see photo.

English issue and pressing.

Professionally cleaned on my Moth record cleaning machine and then put in a fresh new poly-lined inner sleeve (the original inner sleeve has also been kept and will be included with this item).

In the name of getting the auction going, I will start this item at just 99p.


CONDITION:

VINYL =  EXCELLENT-  (No scratches, no groove damage, no distortion, just the very lightest of spindle trails, etc. Under a bright grading lamp I can make out a few very light paper/surface scuffs just visible on the vinyl's surface - although none of these correspond directly to any audible defects. On playback, there is some very faint surface noise just audibile during the silent run-in before the beginning of the tracks and occasionally during some of the quiet beginning sections of certain tracks. However, once the music gets going, it plays well - mostly free from interuption from clicks, pops, etc. Overall, although it is not quite perfect, it is by no means ruined by these tiny imperfections and would still make a good honest copy for someone to play and enjoy (those searching for a museum piece would probably be best off avoiding this particular example though).
Note: for the purposes of this listing I have tested this LP on my Linn LP12 Sondek turntable - generally this is quite a critical test, but I must point out that I cannot guarantee exactly how this LP will sound on your turntable - common sense for most... but then this is ebay!!!)

SLEEVE = V.G. (No rips, tears, defacing, etc... But has a bit of all over wear, particularly to the edges and corners. The open edge is delaminating quite badly on the front and the rear sleeve is not perfectly white, has a sticker mark in the top right corner and sellotape staining along the bottom edge - see photos for further clarification)
