Description
Rare (often referred to as Bowie Rare) is a compilation album by British musician David Bowie, released by RCA Records in December 1982.
The compilation contains rarities recorded between 1969 and 1980. RCA did not issue Rare in the United States; nor was the album reissued on CD along with most of Bowie's other RCA albums in 1984.
This is the version made in England.

2: Released in April 1973 as B-side of 'Drive-In Saturday'
3: Released in September 1973 as B-side of 'Sorrow'
4: Released in June 1974 as B-side of 'Diamond Dogs'
5: Released in September 1974 as B-side of 'Knock On Wood'
6: A different mix than the original track, released in February 1975
7: Released in September 1975 on maxi-single 'Space Oddity'
8: 'Heroes', German version, released in September 1977
9: Single released in December 1979
10: Also known as 'Alabama Song' released in February 1980.
11: Released in March 1981 as B-side of 'Up The Hill Backwards'
The compilation entered the UK chart January 9, 1983.
