Description

Natalie’s BPI Award for “Miss You Like Crazy”

 

This is the BPI British Music Industry Silver Award presented to Natalie Cole herself for 200,000 sales in the UK of the single ‘Miss You Like Crazy’.  This award is in a silver metal frame measuring 10x14 inches (28x36cms) and is in good condition.  There are a couple of minor marks here & there, but nothing that noticeable once it’s hanging on the wall.  The plaque mounted on the award features the BPI logo and includes the following text:

BPI (British Phonographic Industry) awards are the British equivalent of American RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) awards, and are only presented to artists, producers, record companies and others in the music industry that contributed to the success of a record.  This is an official music industry award, and should not be confused with any kind of replica or ‘limited edition’ discs that are sold direct to the public.
