Description

This 1972 recording, with the Philharmonia Orchestra & Chorus conducted by Otto Klemperer, is still regarded as the greatest the work received. Soloists in the Requiem are Elizabeth Schwarzkopf and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, and Christa Ludwig sings the Rhapsody. British EMI pressing in the Klemperer Edition series. NM, some rubbing on box.
