Original mono pressing of Johannes Brahms' Symphony No. 1, performed by the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Rudolf Kempe.

This mono edition is the rare mono counterpart to the highly sought-after stereo ASD 350, which is nearly impossible to find. 


CONDITION: 

Record: Excellent 

The vinyl looks stunning with a lovely gloss. Under strong light, you might notice a few hardly visible micro hairlines - so faint that most sellers would grade this as near mint. To ensure honesty and transparency, I’ve conservatively rated it as excellent. It plays beautifully, with only some mild occasional crackle during the quiet passages - something characteristic of pressings from this era. The overall playback is smooth, dynamic, and highly enjoyable.
Sleeve: Excellent 
The sleeve is just as impressive, a superb example of a front-laminated flipback cover from this time. No creases, no splits, no writing - just beautifully preserved. The laminate is smooth and shiny, with the flipbacks firmly intact. Minimal signs of age in the corners. Truly a lovely copy!
