Artist: Orestes de Mattos / Oscar Veiga
Tracks: Crime de Amor / Cardeal

Super rare early Brazilian disc, masters recorded in April of 1912 in Rio. Very difficult to find. Both sides accompanied by nice strings.

Orestes de Mattos sings a "lundu" song, an Afro-Brazilian style which influenced all major Brazilian styles afterward (samba, choro, etc). Very rare to see one this early. Accompanied by mandolin and guitar.

Veiga sings a "conçoneta" with just guitar accompaniment - he has a strong, more raw voice.
