1st original 1956 US mono pressing with Deep Groove on both clean labels

Wearless spindle hole
V-5998-1602 / V-5998-1603 engraved by hand in the trail-off vinyl of the side A and B respectively
This thick, heavy vinyl retains its fine original sheen and looks carefully played
Visual grade
Side A: NEAR MINT (STRONG): just a couple of tiny, extremely light, hardly visible under a strong bulb lamp and unfeelable sleeve scuffs. NO other flaws ! NO marks, NO scratches, NO wear
Side B: VERY GOOD+: rarest (3), tiny, faint, extremely light sleeve scuffs, hardly visible under a strong bulb lamp and one small needle mark. NO scratches, NO wear
Audio grade
Side A : VERY CLOSE to NEAR MINT: plays well with rarest, occasional, extremely light tics, below the music level and not affecting the listening experience whatsoever . NO other blemishes. NO clicks, NO skips, NO surface or background noise
Side B
2 episodes of cracklin' / light tickin' on the first track to the beginning and near the end (VG)
1 episode of light tickin' to the end of the third track caused by the flaw noted above during my visual inspection (CLOSE to VG+)
Plays well on the second, fourth and fifth tracks with NO noticeable blemishes (CLOSE to NM)
Cleaned with CLEAR AUDIO VACUUM MATRIX using its PURE GROOVE professional solution
COVER : EXCELLENT++
Original thick, non laminated front, cardboard rear jacket in nice condition
Graded as such (EX++) because of:
- minimal wear to the edges, mostly evident on the spine
- a light impact to the top left corner
Tight edges
Bottom left and top/bottom right corners: sharp
Seams and spine : INTACT with NO splits
With NO ring-wear, NO tears, NO stamps, NO holes
Insignificant "red ink" sign and tiny aging stain on the back side, not affecting the integrity of the graphics whatsoever
