BRIAN ENO LP - Music For Films - Polydor white label test pressing
Here's an interesting record I am selling it on behalf of a photographer friend. He was working at Polydor in the late 1970s where he acquired this white label test pressing. It has 18 tracks which are the same as those released in 1978 on Brian Eno's Music For Films album (Polydor 2310 623).
However, the matrix numbers stamped into the runout grooves are 2343107 A//3 1 and 2343107 B//2 1 (see photos). So was the album designated for release as 2343 107. Did it ever get issued? I don't know. Any information welcome.
It is in a plain white sleeve with a post-it note attached to it (see photo). The NM vinyl is unmarked and has had very few plays. Nice!
