BRIAN ENO - "WORKING BACKWARDS 1983-1973
Editions EG - EGBS2
Marketed by jem records, inc.
A fantastic 11-record boxed-set consisting of 9 previously-released studio albums, an EP ("Rarities") featuring two rare, early songs - "Seven Deadly Finns" and "The Lion Sleeps Tonight (Wimoweh)" - and three unfinished pieces). One very rare LP, "Music for Films Volume 2," was new at the time but was given a separate release in 1987. Both the EP and "Music for Films Volume 2," are exclusive to this box. A most interesting glimpse into the Eno creative process.
Condition: The outer box and inner cardboard sleeve (that holds the LPs) show significant shelfwear and handling with some seam splitting (see photo). The covers all look NEAR MINT. The records are all in NEAR MINT (possibly played once or twice, with care) to MINT ("RARITIES" looks like it has not even been touched!). Each has the original inner sleeve.
This is a very rare find, especially the records in this condition. A must-have for Brian Eno collectors. An original release.

NOTE ABOUT MY PHOTOS: What you see is what you get. I take low-resolution (640X480) but adequate photos with the card feature on my digital camcorder and a couple of "natural" fluorescent bulbs. The photos don't always come out true to the item so I employ Google's Picasa2 software to approximate the look of the item but never to change the image or add detail that is not present. When you receive the item, check it against the images on your monitor and you'll see that the item looks even better than the photos. I rarely use stock photos but if I cannot photograph the item properly and there is a stock photo available I'll use it. If you need an additional photo of a detail you may want to see please request it via email.
