BRIAN HENDERSON/SCARCE BANDSTAND LP/JOYE BOYS/DELLIES ETC

There were a few Hendo/Bandstand albums released in the early 60’s (“Brian

Henderson presents Bandstand”/”Bandstand “63” etc) This one’s a bit different

in that it was never on Festival as the others were (to my knowledge) and was only

available as part of a box set of albums (Brenda Lee/J’OK (etc?))

So it’s harder than the others to find (not that they’re easy to find these days

in decent condition either) Also it’s the only one I know that doesn’t refer to “Bandstand”

in the title. There are some great scarce rockers here (eg Devlin’s ‘Wicked Wicked Woman’

& Rob EG’s ‘Seven Foot Two’) Most of the songs were isolated singles and EP trax but none

the worse for that as to find them as singles would burn a hole in your pocket

Condition wise the vinyl plays very well. The front and back covers heve moderate foxing

(see scan) There was a three inch tear at the front cover which I put non-oily tape behind years

ago so all up it’s aged fairly well. It plays well. A rare one from a great era.

MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras in perfect condition.                                  

EXCELLENT: Slight signs of having been played, no lessening of sound quality. Cover, label, extras are good.                                                                            

VERY GOOD: Played quite a few times, no real deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras slight amount of wear and tear.                                                        

GOOD: Showing some wear and tear. Reasonable, playable sound. No major defects in record, cover, label, extras.                                                                             

FAIR: Sound quality deteriorated. Cover, label, extras display folding, scuffing, marks
