Description

The Brian Jonestown Massacre / Strung Out In Heaven - TVT Records TVT-5780-1 (US)(1998) ...This auction is for a factory sealed, original issue Record on (US) vinyl. This record is out of print and no longer available.

Settling into a blissfully psychedelic drift, Strung Out in Heaven opts not for the Stones-inspired direction of before but for Byrds-like guitars, muffled drums and pulsating Hammond organ lines, all topped off by Anton Newcombe's half-stoned, half-shamanic vocals; thanks to standout tracks like "Going to Hell," "Wasting Away" and "Maybe Tomorrow," the cumulative impact makes for the Brian Jonestown Massacre's most mature outing yet, evoking a kind of narcotic euphoria perfectly in keeping with the album's title.

The brand new Record and Cover (with title sticker) are in excellent (Mint) condition. Record will include a plastic outer sleeve. Satisfaction Guaranteed.  For payment please use Paypal (other payments are no longer accepted due to eBay’s new policy. Settling into a blissfully psychedelic drift, the album opts not for the Stones-inspired raunch of before but for Byrds-like guitars, muffled drums and pulsating Hammond organ lines, all topped off by Anton Newcombe's half-stoned, half-shamanic vocals; thanks to standout tracks like "Going to Hell," "Wasting Away" and "Maybe Tomorrow," the cumulative impact makes for the BJM's most mature outing yet, evoking a kind of narcotic euphoria perfectly in keeping with the album's title.
