A UK mono album in original condition, featuring:

1. original UK front laminated, ‘twin flip back’, top and bottom sleeve,

2. spelling errors on the sleeve / record labels, being:

a. the rear of the sleeve features the spelling of, ‘Blakely’, and ‘Blakeley’, the spelling of this name on the record label is correct, as it is spelt as, ‘Blakeley’,

b. side one, track six, on the record label the co- writers credit has been mis spelt as, ‘Weill’, but on the sleeve this name has been spelt correctly, as ‘Weil’,

c. side two, track three, on the record label the co- writers credit has been spelt as, ‘Oakham’’, but on the sleeve this name has been spelt as, ‘Oakman’,

3. earliest first issue 1963 UK Red mono, Decca ‘ridged’ record labels,

4. the record features the earliest matrix of, 1K / 1K,

5. the record features the earliest, ‘mothers’ of, ‘1’ / ‘1’,

6. comes with its original period ‘Decca’ inner sleeve.

CONDITION:

THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition, the front of the sleeve is laminated. The spine is in very good condition and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the original 1960s, ‘twin flip back’ design, ie fold over edges. There are NO splits, pen writing on the sleeve. There is a small’ ‘nick’ to the rear, lower opening edge.

THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition and is the original period ‘Decca’ inner sleeve. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve.

THE RECORD: side one is in very good++ condition, side two is in near very good condition, side two would have been graded higher (very good++) but there is a ‘scuff’ line (non audible) that runs across the playing surfaces. The record is made of the period 1960s, ‘thick heavy’ vinyl. The record has remained dark and glossy.

The matrix are: ARL 6007 - 1K and ARL 6008 1K,

The mother / stampers are: ‘1 C’ and ‘1 H’,

THE AUDIO: each side of the record plays very good++, each side plays with some light ‘crackle’ and some light ‘ticks’ heard here and there. The record plays with a full loud, powerful period mono sound. The record lays flat on the turntable.

THE RECORD LABELS: side one is in excellent++ condition and side two is in excellent+ condition. Each of the record labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

TO GRADE THE CONDITION OF THE RECORD I AM USING THE OFFICIAL GRADING SYSTEM FROM THE ‘RECORD COLLECTOR’ MAGAZINE.
