Description
BRIAN WILSON – Caroline, No / Summer Means New Love ORIG Capitol 45 // CL 15438 (UK, 1966)
Here’s an original copy of Brian’s only UK 1960’s solo single – remembered and celebrated as one of his best ever songs – certainly up there in the top 10 for many Beach Boys’ fans.
The labels are fine – only mild spindle trails around the centre hole. NO writing, stickers, tears or other damage.
The vinyl grades as VG+ (Very Good Plus) – some light scuffing, a few hairline marks and one or two light scratches. Still maintains a good shine with clean surfaces and lies totally flat on the deck. BOTH SIDES HAVE BEEN CAREFULLY LISTENED TO and it plays just fine – perhaps a touch of surface noise but very light and never intrusive on the music. NO snap, pops, clicks or distortion.
A nice copy of this seminal ballad – a song which still sounds as fresh now as it did on release, 47 years ago which I suppose is testament to Brian's timeless song writing.
No reserve.
