Description

Here is a copy of a single by The Honeys: "Surfin' Down the Swanee River" b/w "Shoot the Curl" (Capitol 4952). Released in 1963.

While the label gives production credit to Nick Venet, it is more likely that Brian Wilson produced this record, under Venet's supervision. The A side is an adaptation of the traditional song, with new lyrics and arrangement by Brian Wilson. The B side is co-written by Saundra Glantz (aka Ginger Blake) and Diane Rovell. They are, of course, members of The Honeys, along with Marilyn Rovell.

The record is in VG- condition. Label wear with light writing on both sides, and the vinyl is glossy but scuffy.
