Description
Here is a hard to find copy of a single by Ron Wilson: "I'll Keep on Loving You" b/w "As Tears Go By" (Columbia 4-44636). Released in 1968. Produced by Brian Wilson (credited as Ron-Brian music). This is a sweet, R&B inflected production, very much in the style of what Brian Wilson was doing with his wife's band, Spring (aka American Spring). The Ron Wilson here is not the member of the surf band The Surfaris, but an R&B singer who released a number of singles throughout the late 1960s and early 1970s.
A side written by Ron Wilson, B side is a nice cover of the Rolling Stone song, written by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, and famously recorded by Marianne Faithful.
Record is in strong VG condition. True vinyl (not styrene) has nice gloss, just lots of light paper scuffs. Labels have some minor wear, but no writing or tears.
