WOW!! WOW!!! WOW!!! MEGARARE and HARD-TO-FIND original Producciones FERMATA Marca Registrada Records (FERMATA Records) very first MONO press released in Chile in 1968 by Fermata Records, made by RCA Records and distributed by Corporación De Radio De Chile S.A. (CRC Records), catalog number LF-134-X, with hand etched matrix numbers LF 134 A GT in Side 1 and LF 134 B GT in Side 2. Yes Sirs, ANOTHER FIND!!!

“SHOW” was originally released in 1967 and we had to wait until 1968 to see this fifth album by Brigitte Bardot released here in Chile, but like in so many cases of the period we got it with an UNIQUE COVER!!! Cover is made of an only piece of thin cardboard folded in the middle, so 3 sides are open, with 2 sheets of paper for front and back cover, attached to the cardboard (only partially glued in the mouth edge) and kept together for an outer plastic bag. In Chile front cover keeps strictly the original artwork with the sexy picture of Brigitte Bardot, with album title in English and “Disc AZ” logo at bottom right corner, with Fermata Records logo and catalog number at left top corner, but back cover is totally different, with no album title and tracklist in Spanish, translated to French or English (depending on the original title), with full credits for songwriters and arrangements for each song. In labels the album title is in English only and tracklist is in Spanish, translated to English or French, with full credits for songwriters and arrangements. WOW!!! INCREDIBLE FIND and WHAT A SUPERB CONDITION!!!

"The tracks on Brigitte Bardot Show serve as a soundtrack to her long forgotten television show, which she produced and which served as a stage for her to perform her hits. The album...contains 15 songs, five of which are instrumentals. The vocal tracks range from gentle ballads to bizarre psychedelic romps, all with an over-the-top theatricality and sung with a humorous pop assault. For fans of hip obscure French pop there are a half dozen groovy go-go tracks like 'Harley Davidson' and 'Contact,' while for those of us who have long been hopelessly in love with the lovely Bardot, there is the sultry and dreamy 'Mister Sun.' While there was never any expectation that she would be asked to perform arias at the Paris opera house, her recordings are very fun and certainly entertaining." - All Music Guide

The cover was already described and it’s in EX or EX+ condition, clear and clean, no missing parts, no rips, no ring marks, only minimal wear in the mouth side and some age browning in back cover, with “1L” written with blue pencil at top edge. The record is in superb NM- or NM condition both sides, glossy and clean, with no scratches, no hairlines, only minimal scuffs, hard to see, which of course don’t affect sound. Labels on both sides are in EX- or EX condition both sides, absolutely clean and clear with very minimal spindle wear, some age browning and a light mark of humidity in Side 1. The sound is in absolute NM- or NM condition both sides, loud, clear and clean, no background noise (surface noise is normal in records from Chile), no pops, no clicks, only very minimal occasional crackles here and there hard to hear if you are not looking for them. Overall a great record with a stunning glossy look and amazing sound quality after 44 years!!! And keep in mind this record has an UNIQUE COVER only used here in Chile. Maybe you won’t see another copy in this great condition again!!! A MUST TO HAVE!!! WOW!!! Click on the pictures to enlarge and see the cover and labels in detail.

We don’t use the generic “VG” most of South American sellers use to hide poor quality conditions or “NM” or “Mint” for records which aren’t even clean and sound less than a normal “VG” in professional standards. We use the Record Collector’s Grading System with a little modification: we don’t use MINT grade but for Sealed records and we can use a + or – to show a most professional accurate description.

MINT (M): I only use this grade for Sealed records.

NEAR MINT (NM): The record itself is in like new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality (only some very very very light hairlines caused for the record rubbing the sleeve). The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in like perfect condition.

EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality, maybe some surface marks which doesn’t affect play. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

FAIR (F): The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump.
The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.

POOR (P): The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

BAD (B): The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.

SHIPPING (Packing and Postage)

We have an unique value worldwide: 

GBP15 for weight until 1kg (usually 1 or 2 records 12" depending of thickness of the vinyl)

GBP25 for weight 1-2kg (usually 3-5 records 12")

GBP7 for one 7” record

All records will be packed outside of the sleeve to avoid damages in the cover and all records will be sent with tracking number via Small Packet or Parcel Post services.

We don’t have anything to hide and we know the buyers expect to receive feedback after to pay for the items they win. Most of sellers say to give feedback when buyers leave feedback first. But we know that’s not fair for buyers. So, we leave feedback immediately after to receive the payment, because we understand that’s the part that buyers must receive feedback for.
