We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over 18,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. - Original gatefold with "back-flap" seams on the gatefolds inner The is the 1969 British first print, a rarity by the pleasant voice of Pauline Filby fronting her first album with small electric/acoustic combo led by the acclaimed Gordon Giltrap who spins reflective guitar rhythms and leads appropriately accenting the proceeds professionally.
- Should also appeal to fans of Fairport Convention, Pentangle, etc.
- Pauline hails from the UK and this album was released in 1969.
It's an excellent mix of Folk and Jazz sounds all with top production standards.
Pauline's clear voice ensures all the lyrics are accessible and the parts of the Gospel story come across effortlessly.
This is a rare recording, but well worth seeking out.
Pauline went on to front a UK band Narnia who released an album in 1974 entitled Aslan Is Not A Tame Lion.
- The backing for this collection of songs is quite adequate, with no undue complications, plus some very nifty work on guitar by Gordon Giltrap which definitely stands out. Don't go running away with the idea that this is a series of folky-type religious songs. I'm sure the first sixteen bars of "Jigsaw" will break that illusion.

- Pauline Filby was a solid artist on the British sixties folk-rock movement, and should appeal to fans into other female singers of the time such as Sandy Denny, Jacqui McShee, and Maddy Prior. An electric/acoustic guitar accompanied album, "Show Me A Rainbow" is a strong collection of original material and one of the most obscure but equally strong releases of the '60s British folk scene structured by a pretty English voice. Pauline went on to release another album with her group Narnia some five years later, also a scarce British collectible.

- The cover: rated: the fragile British gatefold is "EX" (excellent) full of vivid color as it was over 50 years ago. The only thing keeping from a M- rating is slight stress bending due to lamination shrinkage which tends to be the case on other UK '60s releases, though this one is less apparent (see photo.)
- There are no delete marks, no split seams, and no writing ...
- The vinyl: Rated: M- looks entirely clean and plays smooth and delightful, there are no problems. Both UK HERALD labels are clean
