Please keep in mind, we would prefer to continue to provide you the opportunity to acquire the rare music we present each and every week. Payment is required within seven days. We mail all paid items ONE WEEK after auctions end. Our listings are time consuming in detail and we are often traveling to find these gems, which at times delays the delivery schedule by a day or two. We ALWAYS process and ship every paid order. We have no control over parcels once they are mailed from our local Post Office. Overseas mail to some countries (Italy, Russia, France, in particular) has become very slow. Opening a dispute for slow mail is unacceptable. We work hard to provide excellent service as is represented by our well over +22,000 positive feedback. We use an ultrasonic KLAudio machine and thoroughly clean all records. Each order is carefully packaged by removing the LP from the jacket to avoid seam splits, use of 3 ml plastic cover sleeves over each LP and jacket, cardboard pad inserts, and placed in sturdy record mailers for safe delivery. We take Customer Service seriously, and want you to be satisfied. Please give us 5 stars in each category through the feedback system, and we will be able to effectively continue to fulfill your passion for rare and collectible music! TOP MINTY 1970 scare first UK-only = B+C pressing. ""Friday the 13th" kicks the album off with an energetic driving riff in Hammond organ surges through a couple of dramatic stops and starts making for an energetic UK 1970 album centered on hysterics of superior-keyboards by Atomic Rooster leader Vincent Crane backed by propulsive drummer Carl Palmer and throbbing bass lines soon amazingly solid Carl Palmer to be snatched up by " Emerson Lake and Palmer" only a year later

The performances enhance both energy and dramatic attention to detail - each player performing parts of each song producing attention. Particularly showcased in "And So To Bed," where the Hammond organ is quite inspired. Bassist Nick Graham putting in a suitably hard-edged performance, Crane providing atmospheric backing vocal amid Carl Palmer's drumming in thunderous roar keeping the piece barely in control with the unconventional beats.
" Broken Wings" carries a melancholy arrangement in which Graham finds perfect blues counterpart to, getting a feel for the progressive piece to verge into early Canturbury territory with Vincent Crane's inspired Hammond being well up to the task in providing interest : his organ swoops, snarls and glides, in the feeling mood of progressive blues. For the first time, the music comes out of the background to take center stage under the spotlight.
Next the listener is treated to more of Palmer's aggressive battery of the kit when elaborating into "Before Tomorrow" - the track really manages to shine under Crane's Hammond organ attack.
However - a guitarist involved is not credited, so we don't know who's to blame - but guessing must be a cat named Nigel Tufnell. The amphetamine-ridden blufferama squeaks and spews all over magnificent drumming and keyboard work in attention to say the least
Next up is a number called "Banstead," with Carl Palmer mleading the way, while Vincent Crane decorating with keyboards of delight.
Their guitarist appears to be back for S.L.Y. where Nicky Graham manages a passable reflection of Chris Farlowe (who joined Atomic Roosters some 5 years later in their career). Again, the song is interesting expanding to remarkable on a Northern Soul/Hard Rock fusion retaining a compelling vibe.The guitarist adds playing rhythm, the texture is very welcome - and the instrumental breakdown from 2:13 to 2:53 offers a dark and intense trip similar to some of the more spacey aspects of early Floyd with guitar involved, then suddenly makes a very hash ending.
A flute appears to introduce the next piece, which deviates from hard rock to a pastoral moods in the proceeding with a strong progressive feel. The overall texture is changed completely, when Crane on keyboards and Palmer is creating a ambience of great sensitivity in this masterful piece is crowned by down-mood lyrics, and proceeding through a break similar to Jethro Tull producing an original magic of its own. As the piece progresses in continual ebb and flow of sonic textures, it paints a wide canvas in a dazzling array of aural colors absolutely of its own, with a gripping feeling of spontaneity, the trio playing their own unique unified jams greater than the sum of the parts. It's no coincidence this is also the longest piece on the album -needing all of seven (7) minutes in order to express their ideas fully. Put this one on repeat while forming an opinion (!)
'Decline and Fall' returns to their 1970 hard rock sound, with influences of "The Nice" and Saucerful-era "PINK Floyd," including Carl Palmer's continuing onslaught .
'Play The Game' is in similar vein for collectors and fans to lap up- as an experience worth acquiring.
