From 1972, out of New York, comes Brother Ahh with his album Sound Awareness on Strata-East SES19731. Extremely rare free jazz LP! Brother Ahh performs with special guest Max Roach! Two very long songs are performed on this album. With backing from Barbara Burton, Pat Dixon, Barbara Grant. On the B side Brother Ahh is backed by Max Roach, M'Boom Reprecussion Ensemble plus Howard Johnson and The Ninety Voice Sound Awareness Ensemble conducted by Brother Ahh. Brother Ahh is also known as R. Northern.He is an artist-in-residence and lecturer at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire. In the 1960's he was a member of Sun-Ra's Intergalactic Arkestra. Musically, it is African sounding music crossed with free jazz! This is an extremely rare LP! 

High spot cover rubs (not to be confused with the tiny white stars that were printed on the cover), small area of paper loss at corner of left top seam, some white along seams,small seam split upper right at seam opening.

Cover is better than VG+ but not VG++, record is MINT MINUS!!!
