VINYL: (VERY GOOD PLUS) Music plays through strong & loud with just a little pop & crackle here & there. The vinyl is still very shiny with a small handful of marks/scuffs/scratches, but nothing deep or really notable. Please do take a listen to the excerpts taken from the actual record below. The labels look nice on both sides with no notable signs of wear, just a few spindle marks.
COVER: (VERY GOOD PLUS) The cover looks quite nice with a bit of visible edge & shelf wear, a little bit of cracking in the glossy cover print on the very edge & a tiny bit of staining/spotting, but nothing really distracting. Also there is a small cleanly written name written in the upper right-hand corner on the back. Please check out the pictures to see it for yourself too.)
This auction is for the very rare BACK COUNTRY BLUES by BROWNIE McGHEE & SONNY TERRY, an original MONO SAVOY MG 14019 pressing, complete with the always admirable RVG (Rudy Van Gelder) stamp in the dead wax. A real tough one to find, especially a copy not beat to complete smithereens. This one still sounds really nice so grab it while you can. Thanks for viewing & good luck with this legendary BLUES LP.
