A great session from 1985 originally issued in the USA on Blue Rockit Records
Brownie on vocals and guitar is in terrific form at the ripe young age of 70 backed by a brilliant bunch of musicians - all who at some time or other have been part of Charlie Musselwhite's bands. In other words they are top notch and swing like hell. They are: Robben Ford (guitar) Clay Cotton (piano) Steve Ehrmann (bass guitar) & Patrick Ford (drums). Harp chores are handled alternatively by Mark Hummel or Mark Ford who both show wonderful restraint in not trying to sound like Sonny Terry. There is nothing "folkie" about this album - it's a real blues band effort.
