Up for auction is a very nice, original copy of the Brownie McGhee & Sonny Terry album "Down Home Blues" originally released in the U.S. on Prestige/Bluesville Records (1002) in 1961.

Condition:
Cover is in very nice condition, with minor signs of wear and age. Front is clean and shiny, no ring wear or rubbing loss. Lamination is very shiny, no bubbles or tears. Seams are nice, no splits or chipping losses. Corners are sharp, with a couple very tiny rubbing losses. Back is nice, shows some light stains along top edge. Has some writing in the track listing box. Very attractive cover. Grade: Excellent Minus (EX-), better than typical VG+ copies.
Vinyl is in beautiful condition, still has its original high glossy shine. No apparent scratches or scuffs, just some faint signs of having been taken out of paper inner sleeve a couple times. Labels are clean, no marks around spindle holes, indicating little previous play. Looks clean, like it's been played maybe once previously. Very well-preserved copy. Grade: Near Mint (NM).
