One of the great very early Oz rock’n’ roll albums. Might be a contender for the title of first Oz rockin’ album by a single performer. The cover has had sticky tape on the edges for years and although I’ve got it off- there’s still some residue (see sample). It’s a shiny surface so a bit of work with the right solvent will probably bring even better results. There’s a name on the back. The vinyl is in the high “g” range- the (a) side is in better condition than the other. Although it’s heavily marked- both sides play fine. A lot better than records with a better grading. The personnel is Bruce Clarke+ Jack Gay (guitars); Ron Web(trumpet); Nev Madison (sax) Ron Terry (bass) Billy Hyde (drums).Bruce Clarke wrote two of the tracks .
Indespensible for the early Oz rock’n’ roll collector.
MINT: Brand new condition, no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: Slight signs of having been played, no lessening of sound quality. Cover, label, extras are good.
VERY GOOD: played quite a few times, no real deterioration in sound quality. Cover, label, extras slight amount of wear and tear.
GOOD: showing some wear and tear. Reasonable, playable sound. No major defects in record, cover, label, extras.
FAIR: Sound quality deteriorated. Cover, label, extras display folding, scuffing, marks. .
