Here’s a rare opportunity to score this ultra-rare private pressing, one of the definitive British acid folk LPs, issued in a run of just 200 copies that were privately distributed on the artist's own Deep Range label. Forget Comus – this is a cry from the depths. As Patrick Lundborg wrote in Galactic Ramble, it’s ‘one of the ultimate incarnations of what today is referred to as ‘downer folk’… There’s a few acoustic guitar instrumentals that are as edgy and arresting as the vocal numbers, the latter of which find Janaway soaring from dark troubadour mutterings into Tim Buckley-like wailing, and back. The emotional commitment is absolute, a fearless head-first dive into the abyss.’ 200 copies were pressed, and very few are likely to survive.
SLEEVE
The fragile single sleeve is in solid VG+ shape, let down only by ringwear on the plain white back cover.
DISC
The vinyl is Mint and unplayed, and the lyric insert is included.
