Description
I bought my copy of 'Born to Run' in November 1975, having heard just the title track on Radio 1, and being completely blown away by it.
I adored the album, and recorded it on to cassette for daily 'car' play, hence the LP remained in good condition, with no scratches/marks/flaws etc.
I have added various photos of the LP surfaces, in different light/angles, so you can see for yourself just what excellent condition it is in, and likewise the photos of the gatefold sleeve show that it has survived remarkably well.
The matrix numbers CBS S 69170 A1 and B1(also shown) indicate that it is the first UK pressing, which would make sense, given when I bought it. This is confirmed by the fact that it has the original mis-spelling of Jon Landau's name (John, until a rapid correction).
A rare opportunity to acquire a 'first edition' of one of Springsteen's best, and most important, albums.
