A 33 1/3 RPM stereo vinyl LP, 'Born To Run' by Bruce Springsteen

The album was originally released in 1975 on Columbia

This version looks to be a Canadian re-issue from an unspecified date, manufactured by CBS Canada. 

This was the 3rd studio album from Bruce Springsteen and constituted his breakthrough. Recorded between May, 1974 and July 1975. The title track was recorded at 914 Sound Studio, Blauvell, NY and the rest at Record Plant, New York

All songs were written by Bruce Springsteen

Musicians:- Bruce Springsteen, vocals, guitar and harmonica; Clarence Clemons, saxophone; Roy Bittan, piano and keyboards; Gary Tallent, bass; Max Weinberg, drums.

Additional musicians:-

Steve Van Zandt, Roy Bittan and Mike Appel, (backing vocals) on 'Thunder Road'.

Randy Brecker (trumpet, flugelhorn), Michael Brecker (tenor sax), David Sanborn (baritone sax) and Wayne Andre (trombone) on 'Tenth Avenue Freeze Out'

David Sancious (keyboards), Ernest 'Boom' Carter (drums) and Danny Federici (organ) on 'Born To Run'. This was recorded before Sancious and Carter had left the band

Richard Davis (bass) and Randy Brecker (trumpet) on 'Meeting Across The River'

Strings on 'Jungleland' were arranged and conducted by Charles Calello.

The gatefold sleeve, designed by John Berg and Andy Engel, has the classic photo, by Eric Meola, of Bruce and Clarence overlapping the front and back cover. There is a full track listing on the back with musician credits. Inside is a further small photo of  Bruce, full lyrics and credits, thanks etc. 

The inner sleeve is a plain, white, paper sleeve with Made In Great Britain on.

The sleeve is similar to other Canadian re-issues but there is no text below the production credits on the rear sleeve. The spine has 'LITHO IN CANADA', Preceded by the Shorewood Packaging logo.

The sleeve is protected by a clear plastic cover that extends over both parts of the gatefold. This allows the gatefold to be opened and read without having to remove the sleeve.

The vinyl  looks VG+. 

A few superficial scratches, but no pops or surface noise on playback . 

Sleeve NM, protected by a clear plastic cover. 

Inner sleeve unmarked, with just a slight crease at one corner.
