BRUNO WALTER “THE GREAT” MUSICIAN is presented in this most prestige collection of COLUMBIA records. As one of the finest conductor and music philosopher of all times, one can easily admit that Dr. Walter’s approach to Beethoven’s symphonies is not a mere coincidence of good luck with the players in an orchestra, or with the recording engineers, but it is rather an accumulation of both, the techniques; and the deep understanding of the scores that he mastered over many years! I am not here to sell Dr. Walter “resume” for the world new then and music lovers know now, that his recordings of Beethoven’s symphonies, with the COLUMBIA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA, are superb in shape, form and sound! Till this day, his recording of Beethoven’s 6th Symphony with the Colombia Symphony orchestra remains unsurpassed! This is about auctioning one of the most beautifully put together album of records by COLUMBIA! Nine symphonies of LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN “THE GREAT” COMPOSER, in seven discs: D7S610 STEREO * Made in U.S.A. (also known as the original “six-eyes-stereo”). All discs are in pristine condition, although, (just to be conservative) if one looks diligently, one might see light scuffs… But, I personally, consider this set to be near mint! I never played any of them… The spindle holes are scuff free! The discs are very glossy and clean that a logo in my shirt can be seen in the picture! The accordion/envelopes have no splits, but some dark finger prints are here and there * All inner-sleeves are of plastic, and are in original condition! The beautiful poster is clean and it measures, approximately, 24x18 inches (60x46 centimeters) * The booklet is in English only, and it is in near mint condition! The album is white leather bound with golden lettering; dark-blue cloth flaps, with gold dots. The seams of the box are card board in golden tone.
