BEETHOVEN: THE NINE SYMPHONIES - 7 LP BOX SET
BRUNO WALTER CONDUCTING THE COLUMBIA SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA
Columbia Masterworks 6-black eye label, D7L 265 (set number entered on box spine), MONOAURAL, made in USA. Plain paper inner sleeves (pouch design). Album acquired about twenty years ago from the second generation family owner.
Original 1959 pressing set - catalog numbers for LPs: from ML 5398 to ML 5422.
Complete set with enclosed inserts (brochure) and poster - shown in the second photo.
DELUXE EDITION WITH CLOTH COVERS (FRONT AND BACK) AND LEATHER BOUND SPINE.
Starting with Symphony no. 1 in C Major, Op. 21 and ending with Symphony no. 9 in D Minor, Op. 125 ("Choral").
CONDITION:
- box is NM - possibly MINT (both front and back covers; sharp corners; no ring or shelf wear; no cutouts)
- the brochure is NM
- the poster is MINT (unused)
- three records are MINT, one record is NM, three records are between Exc. to NM (having on each side a few tiny superficial surface marks and sleeve marks)
