Description

This 7LP box set features Bruno Walter conducting Beethoven's nine symphonies and was released in 1959 by Columbia (catalog number D7S 610). The vinyl records are mostly near mint with a couple of exceptions on Symphony 4 with a small feelable scratch that plays through with no skips but minimal clicks. So I will give it an overall rating of VG+.


The binder has been reinforced at the spine on one side but looks like it was very nicely done. Slight wear and tear around the edges.


Included is the poster and original book “A Beethoven Reader” but also included are 2 original Philharmonic-Symphony Society of New York Carnegie Hall 1949 programs of Bruno Walter and a Carnegie Hall 1970 magazine highlighting Beethoven. This is a great collection for any classical music or Beethoven loving fan.
