SUONI DELLA CITTA / ALI E CODA ... 7-inch, 45rpm OST single by BRUNO ZAMBRINI. Original Italian pressing on the FONIT CETRA label, from 1974. Super-obscure and little known Italian soundtrack single by the cult arranger famous for his Racconti Di Mare underwater themed film score. Funky bossa groove on the maverick SUONI DELLA CITTA theme featuring buzzing fuzz distortions / psych hammond / jazz horn section / electronic sound FX and field recordings. Everyday, 'sounds of a city' splice the groovy bossa breaks with inventive overdubs a la Allucinazione LSD Mulatu Lp so expect motorcyle engines / jungle birds / weird human yawns / dripping taps / typewriter keys / church bells / crowd sounds and beeping car horns. Stylish Brazilian rhythms with a space-age Barbarella / pop art film sound. Great for DJs. This very cool theme was gleamed from Zambrini's Forse Sara La Musica Del Mare soundtrack for a comedy film by Castaldo - Jurgens - Torti starring Minnie Minoprio / Loredana Berte / Renato Cortesi and Stefanella Giovannini. Big record with certain Japanese collectors :) Rare OST 45!!!
Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG
Vinyl is in strong, shiny VG++ condition (closer to M-) with a few hairlines. Some light surface noises. The picture sleeve is closer to M- condition overall with a little ring creasing from storage. Mininal edge and corner wear. Rare OST 45!!!
