Description
Virgin V3206, first EU original 2007 pressing vinyl LP, Bryan Ferry’s ‘Dylanesque’.
Glossy sleeve has a little storage wear, with some creasing at top right corner (pictured) and bottom right corner, with a little edge wear, light ringwear and corner wear, and some slight roughness to opening edge. Still superb colour and excellent structure and, overall a very presentable sleeve. Overall grade is VG plus to EX minus.
The vinyl plays very strongly indeed, and is pressed on very good quality, quiet vinyl. Side A is very clean indeed, with only a couple of the very lightest hairlines and, with a little light crackle at the very start and the occasional dust click, this side grades EX+. and and there is the very occasional light dust click. Side B has a light but noticeable spidery line across bands 1 and 2, and into band 3, and this does cause 6 or 7 repetitive light clicks on three occasions over the first three tracks, along with the occasional light dust click. Strong audio is not compromised too much, and it’s still a very enjoyable listen, but side 2 grades a little lower at EX.
All minor faults are mentioned for absolute transparency, as this is a rare piece of vinyl and I am not in the business of misleading my buyers.
