BUCK BARKER Rockin' All Nite Long LP (1979 self released). Awesome quintessential "real people" album recorded in the solitary backwoods of a North Tennessee farm. Beautifully wasted, deep fried aura that should easily find company with fans of Kenneth Higney, Mayo Thompson, David Welsh and perhaps a more temperate Stud Cole. Even some Michael Hurley-esque rural ramble. Still rather obscure but a true monster for the genre. Hear for yourself below:
