with Fats Navarro, Sonny Rollins, Roy Haynes, Max Roach, Art Taylor & othersoriginally released on 12" LP in 1956 // this LP is very close to first issue, but not quite
Blue Note Records // BLP - 1503 mono Blue & white label on Side #1 reads:167 Lexington Ave, NYC Blue & white label on Side #2 reads: 47 West 63rd, New York 23 "RVG" imprinted in deadwax "ear" both labels are deep groove // flat edge thick cardboard cover is laminated
COVER: VG+
no splits, but definite seam or corner wear
very light ring wear of both sides // several light stains on back cover
Vinyl: VG++
no scratches or marks on heavy grade vinyl: occasional hairline and several light hazy spots on Side #1
record rates a solid 8.7 on a 10 point scale
several spindle marks on labels
vinyl plays well with little or no background noise
