STEEPLECHASE ISSUE OF THE BUD POWELL TRIO - AT THE GOLDEN CIRCLE VOLs. 1 thru 5 - SCC-6001/6002/6009/6014/6017 MONO LPs

Five LPs in one lot. 

Recorded live at the Golden Circle, Stockholm, April 19 & 23, 1962 

Per liner notes - "Although everything technically possible has been tried to improve the sound quality of this record, we regret that it does not fully match our standarads due to the imperfect original recordings.  We, however, believe that the music recorded here is too important not to be released."

These are original Denmark issues that came out in 1978-80.

LPs:  Vol.1, Vol. 2, Vol. 3 and Vol. 4 are MINT (purchased new).  Vol. 5 is NEAR MINT w/removed sticker residue and partial sticker on label (purchased used).

Covers are VG+ w/some edge and overall wear, small sticker on back cover on vols. 1-4 , removed sticker mark on front cover of vol. 5.  Overall covers still look nice. (Thinner European covers)
