Note: first press and original release of a 1962 studio session, recorded in Copenhagen.
Beautiful copy of one the more elusive Bud Powell Items, with a sound quality far superior from the later US release.

Cover: Strong VG+
Laminated, flip back cover, very clean and shiny front & back
Downgraded from NM because of a few superficial wrinkles and minor damage on flip back & top seam ( see scans)
NO seam splits, NO ring wear, NO paper tears,
NO folds, NO peeling, NO pin holes, NO other visible flaws
Vinyl: NM
Immaculate and shiny surface, looks unplayed,
NO hairlines, NO scratches, NO scuffs, NO other visible marks
Audition : NM
Warm and vibrant mono sound, superb playback
A few very light ticks on side 2, probably inherent with this Sonet pressing.
NO surface noise, NO crackle, NO pops, NO skips,
NO other audible flaws
Grading
All gradings are based on thorough visual inspection and a full audition.
The standard scale applies (M*, NM, VG+, VG).
As a rule Near Mint (NM) is my highest grade.
* I don't believe in Mint (M) and will only use it in the exceptional case
where I'm sure to be dealing with an item from unplayed and untouched stock.
I don't offer anything below VG.
Return Policy
