Description
BUD POWELL - The Amazing Bud Powell, Volume 2 LP on the Blue Note label, BLP 1504, mono, from 1955. This is a original US first pressing of a rare jazz album, with a Lexington, NYC address, with a deep groove, on both sides. Has "ear" marks, and "RVG" in trail off, and has a flat edge disc. Labels are clean. The cover is in VG condition, with masking tape on almost the entire bottom seam, spine has a 2 inch seam split on top, and wear on top seam, and spine. There is also a small plastic sticker on front cover, and right edge of back cover paper slick, has a few, small, missing edge tears. The disc looks a stong VG, close to VG+, with mostly light surface marks. However, there is a scratch on 2nd track on Side One, which causes ticks on 2nd track, but no skips or sticks. The rest of the disc plays excellent, except for just a few, light background crackles on some quiet parts. Still a very good listening copy for the right ears. No reserve. Winner pays for shipping.
